Good Seed Programme
Design & Technology for Social Innovation
To support social innovation projects that address poverty and social issues, PolyU launched the Good Seed Programme in 2015 with funding support from SIE Fund. The Programme aims to sow the seeds of a caring society among young people and nurture them into creative social innovators with a seed fund of HK$100,000 for each supported social innovation project.
The Programme is composed of three stages:
As of 30 June 2017, the Programme had supported 35 social innovation projects, bringing a positive social impact to a range of beneficiaries, including the elderly, the visually impaired, low income families and ex-offenders.
